ROTOFUGI PRESENTS: LUKE CHUEH "I AM YOUR PLAYTHING"
Chicago based Rotofugi presents Luke Chueh's latest show, "I Am Your Plaything". Rotofugi has established itself as a respected retailer and venue in the art toy and gallery world. I thought this would be a prefect opportunity create a show inspired by my thoughts and experiences with toys and toy culture.
This show is also a double bill with my friend and colleague Jesse "J*Ryu" Yu. If you're a fan of my work, I have little doubt you'll love his art too. This will be his first major exhibition.
Also, this will be my first time visiting and showing in the great city of Chicago. If you're from the area, please come out and say hi.

L Chueh
Artist | Professional | Traditional Art
United States
Born in Philadelphia, but (tragically) raised in Fresno, Luke Chueh studied graphic design at Cal Poly, San Luis Obipso where he earned a BS in Art & Design. In 2003 he moved to Los Angeles where he took up painting full time and started showing in the underground art scene. Since then Chueh has quickly worked his way up the ranks, stylistically balancing cute with brute while walking the fine line between comedy and tragedy. At the same time, he has also establishing himself in the designer toy scene with various three dimensional interpretations of his art. Despite his humble beginnings,Chueh has enjoyed much success and has been featured in galleries and museums around the world.
